Trina was found in the
area of LoutrakI with her front leg smashed. She might be small sized but she’s also fearless and this lack of fear of everything, cars too, might have been responsible for her accident (along with an irresponsible driver of course who abandoned h
er). The local vet cared for her but unfortunately her front leg had to be amputated. Ever since she has been living with our volunteer and his other fostered and owned dogs. Character ;At the moment our three-legged Trina is still very active, confident and full of energy. As a stray she probably had to be overprotective with her food and even life, so now she’s learning all about living with other dogs without having to act this way and her progress is more than obvious as far as that is concerned.
She has already started being social and close to some of her foster siblings and last but not least she tends to be friendly with cats too(however under supervision at the moment). Trina is curious, playful, exploring and sometimes loud when she’s having a good or a bad time. She’s definitely going to become the most loyal dog if you earn her trust and show her the right way to handle her energy. However her personality would fit better in a forever home with adults as children won’t help her recover her self-control and balance her energy. Besides her forever human partner, who has to be experienced with dogs, a dog partner would be an ideal scenario for her at her forever home as they will share their energy together which will enable her to unlock her beautiful personality…
