Marx

If strays could talk, what would they say? They would speak of hunger, loneliness, abandonment and pain –because such is the life on the street. Yet, their stories remain untold, hidden in their eyes. What is the story behind this cat’s eyes? He was just a kitten when car hit him and left him half dead on the street. In the clinic where he was taken, he was in a coma for days. Finally, with the efforts of a very committed vet who didn’t give up on him, he managed to recover. Unfortunately, the accident left him some neurological problems: a partial ataxia, bad balance and movement coordination, an exclusive preference for pate and turning …left, which got him the name…Marx.
Marx is a big baby. You pick him up and he melts in your arms trustingly. He is tender and loyal. His look is devoted and profound. He looks like he is making a million thoughts. He stares right into our eyes as if we were his whole world – because indeed love is his whole world. And he speaks to us with a constant murmuring purr, as if questioning what he does not understand. But Marx found a companion, another cat, who was able to show him what we couldn’t: another survivor cat from the same clinic – and it was like they identified each other. He showed Marx what it is to be a cat; he encouraged him to play more, to jump high. So Marx acquired confidence in his movements boldly jumping to high places happy and unafraid. Since then, they have been together, cuddling together. Now Marx, with the help of his friend, is spectacularly improved: he still needs supervision while eating, but he is better and moves better. He is now a strong and confident cat.
So, if the eyes of former strays tell of something, it is this: that despite what they have been through, caring love can work miracles.
And this is what Marx needs: the love of a responsible person and a forever home. Oh, and lots of pate.
Marx is approximately three years old. He is neutered and vaccinated. He will be given for adoption to live exclusively indoors. His new guardian will be required to cover the cost of microchipping him. Contact tel. no: 6979988338
