Calico colors can present in any breed of domestic cat, long hair or short: Japanese Bobtail, Manx, Persian, Turkish Angora and American Shorthair to name a few.
Long ago, Japanese sailors saw calico cats as companions of good luck and would bring them along on their ocean voyages. The calicos were thought to chase away storms.. Sometimes called “money cats” in the U.S. due to the myth that calicos can be sold at top dollar. Breeding for calicos is near impossible as the genetic configuration is unpredictable, and most male cats are sterile….We people are amazing!
Our Honey is, what humbly her name states…sweet as honey, indifferent towards the myths of Pacific & Atlantic oceans! Here is Mediterranean! Honey may not become your calico charm or fit in pocket or hung around your throat, but will warm you with her love and will bring to your urban house, the warm colours of the earth, the grey of the mountain rocks, and the freshness of the whites of the Mediterranean waves. A “fresh” soul, that will colour you with love, and bring to your arms the tenderness and beauty of Mediterranean earth, and who knows…maybe the myths of the Pacific & Atlantic! A Universal Cat, on your lap…
Our Honey, will given for adoption spayed and vaccinated, for in house living, with adoption contract only for within Attica’s area. The new owner will be charged with microchip’s cost. Contact mobile telephone no: 693 6631269.
