Charlie Chaplin

“Nothing is permanent in this wicked world – not even our troubles.”
Charlie Chaplin

Who doesn’t know “the Tramp”…who doesn’t recognize Charlie Chaplin with his iconic mustache? Who hasn’t laughed and cried at the same time with the bittersweet adventures of the solitary wanderer? This sweet and tender tramp always seeks love to drive away his loneliness, but since he is also mischievous, what he eventually finds is trouble. Always a trickster, he mocks pretentiousness and laughs away the adversities, which are quite a lot, since he lives on the street.
And on the street we met him: with thick fur and four legs this time, but with the iconic little Chaplin mustache and the same innocent round eyes with the sparkle of mischief; a little thing weighing just half a kilo, hidden in a car engine, trying to face his life’s adversities – cars, dogs, bigger cats, hostile people, hunger, thirst, fear. He was frightened and distrustful but as soon as we managed to get him out and he felt safe in our arms, he hasn’t stopped running and playing happily. He is, like his namesake iconic mustache wearer, sweet and loving but also ready for the next adventure. Being the small kitten that he is, he plays with the other cats like there is no tomorrow, even though as a genuine challenger of the cat social hierarchy he is trying to take the upper hand – and he often succeeds! The other cats let him get away with it and so do we; after all how can anyone resist this face?
In this wicked (for humans and animals alike) world, the troubles of a life in the streets, at least for our Chaplin, are over. Now the little guy enjoys the loving care and the safety all small kittens should enjoy growing up. He is still looking for a forever family to give love to as well as endless laughter with his cute looks and funny antics.
We have taken little Chaplin out of the streets; now you can take him in your life and into your arms and in this way give the happy ending that every stray story deserves.
Chaplin was born sometime in July 2019. He will be given for adoption with an adoption contract to live exclusively indoors, within Attica, on condition he be neutered at the appropriate age. His new guardian will be required to cover the cost of microchipping him. Contact tel. no 6979988338
