Belle immediately starts to meow and calls us to join her in play. This little cat’s fancy draws us into a world without cares or problems. She shows us the playful and optimistic side of life; a side that the difficulties of everyday life all too often make us ignore.
What is strange is not that we take all these life lessons from a cat but that this cat is blind. Yet, Belle’s disposition or energy is unaffected by her condition. Belle is beautiful inside and out even though she can’t see us.
